Format
National-team event, no individual entry: teams of 4 players + 1 reserve per federation, in the Open and Women sections. Around 200 federations expected. 11-round Swiss system.
Classical time control: 40 moves in 90 minutes, then 30 minutes to finish, plus a 30-second increment per move from move 1.

September 15: opening ceremony, media day, technical meeting. Round 1: September 16. Rounds 2-6: September 17-21. Rest day: September 22. Rounds 7-11: September 23-27. Round 11 and closing ceremony: September 27. Round time (15:00 local) based on the usual FIDE Olympiad pattern; pending exact official confirmation.
