Format
Open Swiss, one section for any player. 9 rounds, classical time control G/90 +30 (40 moves in 90 minutes, then 30 minutes to finish, plus 30-second increment from move 1). The June 2026 FIDE rating list is used for the Open section, which is FIDE-rated.
There are 3 entry schedules (7-day, 5-day, 4-day) that converge from round 6 onward and compete for the same prizes. The round times below follow the 7-day schedule.

7-day schedule: Round 1 (Aug 3, 19:00), Rounds 2-3 (Aug 4, 10:00 & 19:00), Rounds 4-5 (Aug 5, 10:00 & 19:00), Round 6 (Aug 6, 19:00), Round 7 (Aug 7, 19:00), Round 8 (Aug 8, 19:00), Round 9 (Aug 9, 15:00). Eastern time.

$220 entry fee after July 27, 2026 (late/onsite fee; lower early fees applied before that date). Requires US Chess membership (or equivalent) plus a FIDE ID for rating. Online/onsite registration until 3:00pm ET, Monday August 3, 2026.
